CargoNet Network Overview 2008 – 2009

During the 2008–2009 period, CargoNet represents a broad network of selected companies operating in transport, logistics and related support services across Europe. Members come from various industries and include carriers, freight forwarders, manufacturing companies and specialized logistics providers.

The core activity of the members is based on international road transport, with a strong focus on full truck loads (FTL) and less-than-truck loads (LTL). The network includes companies operating different vehicle types and equipment, ranging from standard trailers and refrigerated units to solutions for special, sensitive or non-standard cargo.

Geographically, CargoNet is primarily focused on Europe, where members provide regular connections between major logistics hubs and regional destinations. Cooperation within the network enables faster cargo flows, greater flexibility and reliable supply chains.

In addition to transportation, many members also offer value-added services such as warehousing, customs procedures, shipment tracking and logistics consulting. In this way, CargoNet functions not merely as a list of providers, but as a supportive environment for efficient international business operations.
